Rennie Muzii was appointed EVP, Asian Risk Solutions at Sompo in January 2024.
In this role, he focuses on client‑facing activity within the Asian Risk Solutions customer segment, with responsibility for client retention and the development of new business through cross‑selling and targeted account strategies.
Mr Muzii previously served as SVP, Professional Lines at Sompo from 2013 to 2024. In that role, he was responsible for underwriting and business development across Directors and Officers Liability, Professional Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Cyber Insurance, supporting portfolio growth and broker engagement.
Mr Muzii has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. His earlier career included senior roles at Marsh USA and AIG, where he worked with clients across the communications, media and technology sectors and managed complex errors and omissions and cyber risk placements.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.
