Martyn Benson was appointed Chief Operating Officer, UK at Sompo in July 2026.
In this role, he is responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing business performance and supporting the continued development of Sompo's UK platform and proposition.
Mr Benson brings 10 years of FS consulting/operational excellence experience combined with 17 years of senior operational leadership roles across UK, EMEA, and APAC. Most recently, he served as COO, International Insurance at Everest.
Mr Benson’s experience includes leading complex operational functions and supporting the integration and development of global insurance businesses.
