Kevin Powell

In this role, he is responsible for actuarial leadership across the UK business, providing oversight on pricing, reserving, capital and risk management, and supporting regulatory and governance requirements.

Mr Powell has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. He has held senior actuarial and leadership positions at a number of global insurers, including Aspen Insurance Group, AXA XL and QBE. Across these roles, he has worked closely with underwriting, risk and finance teams to support portfolio management and long‑term business sustainability.

Mr Powell has comprehensive experience across all areas of actuarial practice, including pricing, reserving, capital modelling and enterprise risk management. He also brings a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions, developed through extensive engagement with regulators and stakeholders in complex insurance markets.
