Hervé Marguin was appointed Dirigeant Agréé of SI Insurance (Europe) SA (SIIE) in December 2025. Based in Luxembourg, Mr Marguin is responsible for the day-to-day management and direction of SIIE.

Hervé Marguin was appointed Dirigeant Agréé of SI Insurance (Europe) SA (SIIE) in December 2025. Based in Luxembourg, Mr Marguin is responsible for the day-to-day management and direction of SIIE.
Mr Marguin has more than 30 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance sector, bringing a blend of actuarial expertise, strategic decision-making, and executive leadership across global insurance markets.
His career spans senior leadership roles across underwriting, finance and actuarial functions, with extensive international experience across Europe and Asia Pacific. He spent nearly three decades with Zurich Insurance Group, where he held a range of senior positions including Chief Underwriting Officer for Europe and Asia Pacific, Chief Financial Officer for Asia Pacific, and Chief Actuary in Paris and Zurich.
Mr Marguin is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and holds a French actuarial qualification in Actuarial Science from the Institut de Science Financière et d’Assurances.
