Giovanni D’Antonio

Mr D’Antonio has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with deep expertise across accident and health underwriting, employee benefits and client advisory services. He joined Sompo in 2023 as Underwriting Manager, Accident & Health, Insurance, Italy at Sompo.

Before joining the company, Mr D’Antonio held senior underwriting leadership positions at AIG, where he led group and employee benefits underwriting, as well as roles at AXA Italia, XL Catlin and Zurich Global Corporate Italy. Earlier in his career, he gained extensive experience in client advisory, claims and broker-facing roles at Marsh and other insurance services providers.

Mr D’Antonio completed his secondary education at Liceo Classico Giovanni Berchet in Milan.
