Dan Reinert is SVP, Private Equity Practice Leader at Sompo, where he is responsible for coordinating strategy across Middle Market, Financial Lines and Commercial Property and Casualty.
In this role, Mr Reinert oversees client engagement and portfolio management for Private Equity as an industry class, working closely with underwriting and distribution teams to support complex client programmes.
Mr Reinert has more than 20 years of experience in the retail insurance market. His career has focused on business development, underwriting and client engagement, with particular expertise in private equity, financial lines and partnership liability. Prior to joining Sompo, he led the Private Equity vertical nationally at Everest Insurance.
Earlier in his career, Mr Reinert held roles at ACE USA, Nationwide and Aspen, where he worked across financial lines and general partnership liability. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
