Dan Osman serves as Active Underwriter for Syndicate 4711 and Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), AIUK at Sompo.
In these roles, he is responsible for underwriting leadership, portfolio oversight and strategic direction across specialty insurance business written through both syndicate and company platforms.
Mr Osman works closely with underwriting teams and senior stakeholders to support disciplined risk selection and sustainable portfolio development.
Mr Osman has held senior positions within the insurance industry, including leadership roles at Aspen Insurance Group, where he developed extensive experience in specialty insurance underwriting and portfolio management.
Before entering the insurance sector, Mr Osman held leadership roles within credit banking institutions.
