Brunello Bulciaghi was appointed Head of Property, Insurance, Italy at Sompo in August 2023. Based in Milan, he is responsible for leading the Property underwriting portfolio in Italy.
Mr Bulciaghi has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong focus on property insurance across national and multinational markets.
Prior to Sompo he was at Aon Reinsurance Italy where he served as a Property and Facultative Non-Marine Broker for Italy. Prior to this, he held senior property underwriting positions with AXA XL, AIG Europe, and RSA. His career includes responsibility for leading underwriting teams, managing large corporate accounts, and contributing to regional underwriting strategies across Europe.
Mr Bulciaghi completed post-secondary studies in Public Relations at Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM and holds a diploma in accounting.
