Jaime Yoon
SVP, Head of Distribution, Canada
Jaime Yoon was appointed SVP, Head of Distribution, Canada at Sompo in April 2025.
In this role, she leads distribution strategy and market engagement across Canada, with a focus on strengthening long-term client and broker relationships.
Ms Yoon brings more than 25 years of commercial insurance experience spanning P&C broking, environmental liability underwriting, risk management, client and broker relationship management, and business development.
Prior to joining Sompo, she held a series of senior leadership roles focused on client engagement and growth, building broad expertise serving large commercial and global accounts across a range of industries.
Ms Yoon holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Applied Economics from Queen's University, and the FCIP, CIP and CRM designations.
