Devon Jeffers was appointed SVP, Head of Property, Canada at Sompo in November 2023.

Devon Jeffers has more than 20 years of industry experience in underwriting and broking. Prior to joining Sompo, he was VP, Property Technical Underwriting at Zurich Canada and Director of Specialty Property at RSA/Intact Specialty Solutions.

Mr Jeffers has extensive knowledge of large, complex risks as well as Nat Cat exposure assessment. In Mr Jeffers early career he spent time at Marsh and Aon negotiating placements on behalf of national clients across a variety of industry classes.
