In this role, he supports the underwriting and development of Sompo’s mid‑market portfolio, with a particular focus on technology-driven risks.

Mr Delany works closely with brokers and clients to assess exposures, structure coverage solutions and support disciplined portfolio management.

Mr Delany has almost 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. His career spans a range of classes, including Property, Casualty and Construction, providing him with a broad technical foundation across commercial risks.

Over time, his focus has increasingly specialised in Technology Professional Indemnity and Cyber, where he underwrites complex risks for mid‑market clients.
