Scott Toland

In this role, he is responsible for leading Sompo’s Commercial Lines Insurance business across Continental Europe, with a focus on underwriting strategy, portfolio management and business development.

Mr Toland has more than 25 years of insurance industry experience spanning liability underwriting, casualty management and commercial insurance leadership. Prior to joining Sompo, he served as Chief Underwriting Officer, EMEA at Zurich Insurance.

He previously held several senior leadership positions at Zurich, including Global Head of Liability and Head of US Liabilities International Program Underwriting.
